Pravas is a workforce tool operated on behalf of an employer. In most deployments your employer is the data controller and Pravas (AI Guru) is the data processor acting on their instructions. This policy is a general template and should be reviewed alongside your employer's HR and data-protection policies.

1. Who we are

Pravas is a field-force GPS tracking and travel-allowance (TA) verification product by AI Guru. It is provided to agro and field-sales organisations to record field visits and reimburse travel on verified distance.

2. What we collect

Representative details — name, mobile number, region and city (entered by the manager).
Home & agency locations — set once by the manager; the home location is not editable by the representative.
Location data — GPS coordinates, accuracy and (optionally) speed and battery level, captured on the representative's device during the working day.
Derived records — agency visits (arrival, departure, duration), daily routes, verified distance, and TA calculations.
Claims — travel distances/visits a representative claims, for reconciliation.

3. Why we collect it

Solely to record where a field representative travelled during work, detect visits to pre-loaded dealer agencies, and compute travel allowance on GPS-verified road distance — so reimbursement reflects travel that actually happened.

4. Working-hours tracking & consent

Tracking is intended for the workday — it begins when the representative leaves the fixed home location and ends on return. Representatives are enrolled by their employer and consent to workday location tracking as a condition of the travel-allowance programme, in line with the employer's HR policy. The app clearly indicates when tracking is active.

5. How it is used and shared

Location and visit data are visible to the representative and to the employer's authorised managers.
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Data is hosted on cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) used to run the service.
We may share data with service providers strictly to operate Pravas, or where required by law.

6. Retention

Raw location pings are kept only as long as needed to compute and audit the workday, then pruned. Verified day records and reports are retained for the period the employer requires for payroll and audit. Retention windows are configurable per deployment.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Manager accounts are protected by hashed passwords and token-based sessions; device tokens are scoped and cannot alter home or account data.

8. Your choices & rights

Requests to access, correct or delete personal data are handled through your employer (the data controller). You may also contact us at [email protected] and we will assist the controller.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
